What Are the Standards for Lighting Fixtures?

Views :
Update time : 2024-07-27

Many standard-setting organizations cover almost every aspect of electrical efficiency, including efficient lighting and LED safety, performance, testing, and illumination levels. Lighting standards are often revised and updated to account for the latest technologies or the needs of specific industries. In China, lighting product standards are the GB7000 series, corresponding to the IEC60598 series (EN60598 series). Products in North America must comply with electromagnetic compatibility requirements through FCC certification. The main safety standards for lighting products are UL153 and UL1598, which are mandatory.
