4. The applicant makes payment and sends samples to the China JJR laboratory for product testing;
5. The certification body conducts product testing and reviews the technical documents;
6. The review of technical documents includes:
a. Whether the documents are complete;
b. Whether the documents are written in the official EU languages (English, German, or French);
c. If the technical documents are incomplete or not written in the required language, the applicant will be notified to make improvements;
7. If the test fails, the applicant will be notified promptly and allowed to modify the product until it passes the test. The applicant must update the technical documentation to reflect the changes;
8. The certification body provides the applicant with the CE compliance certificate and instructions for the use of the CE mark;
9. The applicant affixes the CE mark on the product.
