Argentina ENACOM certification is a mandatory certification for wireless and telecommunication products. All devices that connect to public telecommunication networks and use radio frequencies must apply for ENACOM certification. For wireless communication products exported to Argentina, ENACOM certification is required. The original regulatory authority for wireless certification in Argentina was CNC, later replaced by AFTIC, and after 2015, ENACOM took over.
All products that connect to public switched communication networks and transmit radio frequencies, such as routers, switches, tablets, Bluetooth speakers, wireless projectors, and the currently popular TWS headphones. In other words, products with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or communication functions fall under the ENACOM certification scope and must undergo ENACOM certification.
1. Provide relevant product specifications, confirm quotation, and sample quantity.
2. Send samples to JJR LAB for pre-testing.
3. Once pre-testing is successful, JJR LAB will send the samples to an Argentine local testing laboratory.
4. The Argentine local laboratory will conduct testing and issue a report.
5. Submit the report to the official ENACOM in Argentina for certificate application.
6. ENACOM will issue the certificate after reviewing and approving the documentation.
ENACOM certificates are valid for 3 years, and renewal can begin 1 month before the certificate expires.
1. ENACOM certification can only be held by a local company in Argentina. It is recommended that the actual importer holds the certificate. If there is no actual importer, JJR LAB can provide local representative services.
2. ENACOM certification allows only one certificate per model; series models cannot be listed under a single certificate.
3. If different products share the same wireless module, only one sample needs to be sent for testing. Other models can use the test data from the wireless module to apply for the certificate, and products using the same module do not need to send a sample for each model.
1. JJR LAB works directly with Argentina's officially recognized local laboratories, offering discounts and a controllable timeline.
