The content shared by JJR Laboratory this time is still about the certification of wireless smart button switches. This is for one of our long-term clients who recently completed the FCC SDOC certification related to FCC US compliance with us. This time, they are adding EU export compliance with CE certification and DOC on top of that. Below is the quote from JJR Laboratory, for your reference. If your product is also a wireless smart button switch, it can serve as a guide. However, please contact us with your product specification sheet to obtain an official quote.
Since the client's wireless module has already passed CE pre-certification, the wireless smart button switch can directly reference approximately 60% of the test data from the wireless module during the radio testing. The wireless smart button switch only needs to undergo RSE (Radiated Spurious Emissions) + EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) + RF Exposure + Safety tests. Additionally, the battery used in the wireless smart button switch needs to provide either a CB or EN/IEC safety test report.
