The UKCA, short for UK Conformity Assessed Marking, is a new product marking introduced by the United Kingdom to replace the CE marking for products sold in the UK market. The UKCA marking applies to England, Wales, and Scotland but does not cover Northern Ireland. It encompasses most products that previously required CE marking. Manufacturers can continue to use the CE marking to access the Great Britain market until January 1, 2025. From January 1, 2025, products sold in Great Britain must comply with the relevant regulations and display the UKCA marking.
