Radio Transmission Equipment Model Approval (SRRC) refers to the system of technical management of radio transmission equipment's spectrum parameters during its development, production, import, and acquisition phases before being put into use. The main content of model approval includes the determination of spectrum parameters such as working frequency, frequency band, transmission power, frequency tolerance, occupied bandwidth (or spectral characteristics of the transmitted signal), out-of-band emission, and spurious emission. These spectrum parameters directly affect whether limited spectrum resources can be scientifically utilized and whether airborne radio wave order can be effectively maintained. According to the "Radio Regulations of the People's Republic of China," the working frequency and frequency band of research, production, and radio transmission equipment must comply with the relevant regulations of national radio management and be approved or filed by the radio management authority. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Radio Regulations of the People's Republic of China," the government formulated policies on the import and production of radio transmission equipment in 1995 and 1997, respectively.

- Original or photocopy of the "Application Form for Radio Transmission Equipment Model Approval" and "Equipment Testing Information Registration Form" with the seal of the applicant (equipment manufacturer).
- If the application is made through an agent, a "Letter of Authorization for Radio Transmission Equipment Model Approval" must also be submitted.
- Photocopy of the business license of the applicant (including the agent applicant).
- Technical specifications of the equipment model (including software and hardware version numbers) and user manual.
- Circuit diagram and block diagram of the tested equipment.
- Three sets of color printed A4 photos or electronic versions, including:
- Overall view
- Front view
- Side view (including transmitter port, interface, etc.)
- Back view (including transmitter port, interface, etc.)
- Internal circuit board of the tested equipment.
- Nameplate (label) of the tested equipment; the nameplate (label) should clearly display the equipment model, applicant (equipment manufacturer), equipment serial number, and approval code CMIIT ID; the bottom of the photo should also indicate the structural dimensions of the tested equipment.
- Inspection basis and reference standards for radio transmission equipment model approval testing.
- The tested equipment model should have test procedures, methods, standards, conditions, test connection diagrams, special test accessories, and test reports (copies or photocopies are acceptable).
- If the transmission port of the tested equipment belongs to a non-standard interface, the tested equipment's test connection cable and the cable attenuation value text or chart based on the company's seal must be provided.
- If necessary, the applicant must send engineering and technical personnel to cooperate with the testing.
- If a device sent by the applicant fails inspection, a second sample may be drawn or the sample may be resubmitted for retesting. If two or more (including two) samples drawn fail inspection, no second sample will be taken, and the product will be deemed unqualified. If one or more devices still fail after the second inspection, the product will be deemed unqualified.
