Introduction to California Proposition 65 California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act) was promULgated and implemented in November 1986. The products involved in this proposal include toys, electrical devices, clothing, accessories, cosmetics, gifts, manufacturing or construction supplies, etc., covering almost all products, and listing the exposure scenarios of dangerous goods. It is recommended that companies should try to avoid using substances included in the California Proposition 65 hazardous substances list. Assess product risks and identify key controlled substances in products.
Jewelry, clothing, luggage, sports mats, toys and childcare products, ceramics and glass products, bicycles and their accessories, electrical devices, wires and cables, textiles, groceries, food contact products, electronic products, etc.
1. The discharge of hazardous substances listed in the proposal into drinking water is not permitted.
2. Provide clear and reasonable warnings (for listed substances, warnings are requiRED unless the exposure level is very low and will not cause risks).
For different products and materials, different chemical substances are controlled and the limit requirements are also different.

Certification cycle: Normally 7 working days
Report validity period: Usually California 65 certification does not have a strict validity period, but the California 65 report is not static. As regulations are updated, the California 65 report must be updated and the old version will become invalid.
