The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) enacted the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) in 2008, which established important regulatory responsibilities for manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and exporters of consumer products, especially toys and children’s products. Toys and children’s products entering the U.S. must comply with CPSIA product safety requirements, and must be tested by CPSC-recognized laboratories. A Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) or General Certificate of Conformance (GCC) must be issued to demonstrate compliance with applicable federal regulations and mandatory safety standards. Whenever possible, permanent tracking information must be included on the product and its packaging.
China's JJR Laboratory is an independent third-party testing and certification laboratory, accredited by ISO/IEC 17025 and CPSC. Our testing capabilities not only cover CPSIA requirements but also extend to other regulatory testing requirements, such as ASTM F963 for toys and children’s products.
