In the digital era, routers are critical devices connecting the global network. With the advent of WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 technologies, router performance has significantly improved. WiFi 6E routers provide broader bandwidth and low latency, ensuring stable connectivity. WiFi 7 routers signify a new peak in wireless communication technology, offering faster data transfer speeds and enhanced user experiences.
Routers exported to Japan require TELEC (MIC) certification. Japan enforces strict certification standards for electronic devices to ensure safety and reliability.
TELEC certification includes two types: Test Certification and Type Certification.
1. Test Certification: Valid for each verified unit of the device.
2. Type Certification: Conducted on samples of a batch with identical design and manufacturing. It applies to the entire batch but requires re-certification if design or manufacturing changes occur.
1. Sign a certification contract with the company and pay the fees.
2. Provide one fixed-frequency sample, one normal sample, an application form, and relevant certification documents.
3. The company conducts testing, issues a test report, and submits the application to the RCB authority.
4. Upon review, the certificate is issued. Final payments are settled, and the certificate is delivered to complete the process.
1. Complete device circuit diagram.
2. Device block diagram.
3. User manual.
4. Operation instructions.
5. BOM (Bill of Materials).
6. Module circuit diagram.
7. Module block diagram.
8. Module specifications.
9. Factory ISO 9001 certificate.
10. Label and location diagram.
11. Antenna specifications, including name, type, and design.
12. Label details, including dimensions, position, TELEC mark, and its size.
The above documents must be in English or Japanese. Test reports in other languages are not accepted. During submission, ensure proper handling of model numbers, as numerous models may require additional product differentiation testing or model review fees. Japan's Radio Law mandates that manufacturers retain certification documentation for 10 years.
JJR Lab in China is equipped with advanced Bluetooth, WiFi, and mobile device testing systems, including four RF conduction testing systems. All systems feature CE, FCC, TELEC, and SRRC automated testing software, enabling simultaneous certification tests. This reduces testing cycles and helps your products enter the global market faster.
