The FCC, which stands for Federal Communications Commission, in Chinese is known as the Federal Communications Commission of the United States, ensuring the safety of wireless and wired communication products related to life and property.

Certification Categories:

1. fcc sdoc Supplier Compliance Declaration

2. FCC Certification ID Verification

 

Product Scope:

1. FCC sdoc: Applicable to general electronic products without wireless functionality, such as monitors, lamps, power supplies, and home appliances.

2. fcc id: Wireless products including Bluetooth devices, tablets, wireless keyboards, wireless mice, wireless readers, transceivers, walkie-talkies, wireless microphones, remote controls, wireless network devices, wireless video transmission systems, and other low-power wireless products, 2G, 3G, 3.5G phones, DECT phones (1.8G, 1.9G bands), and walkie-talkies.

 

Certification Standards:

- Information Technology ITE/AV Power/Products: fcc part 15B

- Lamp Products: fcc part 15b, fcc part 18

- Home Appliance Products: FCC PART 15B

- Industrial, Scientific, Medical Products: FCC PART 18

- Energy Storage Products: FCC PART 15B

- Wireless Products: FCC PART 15C/15E, FCC PART 22/24/27

 

Testing Items:

1. fcc sdoc certification:

   - Conduction and Radiation

2. fcc id certification:

   - Conducted Disturbance, Radiated Disturbance, Maximum Output Power, 20dB Bandwidth, Channel Spacing, Hopping Channel Count, Dwell Time, Sideband, Antenna Requirements, etc.

 

Required Documents:

1. FCC SDOC Certification:

   - The product responsible party (manufacturer or importer) submits the product to a testing agency for testing and generates a test report.

   - After the product passes the test, appropriate labels and warnings are added to the product, and compliance with fcc standards is declared in the user manual.

   - Provide a local supplier compliance declaration document for the United States.

2. FCC ID Certification:

   - The product responsible party (manufacturer or importer) submits the product to an FCC-designated qualified testing agency for testing and generates a test report.

   - Fill out TCB Form 731 based on the test results.

   - In addition to the above, customers need to provide product-related documents such as user manuals, block diagrams, descriptions of product operation principles, circuit schematics, FCC confidentiality, authorization letters, product nameplates, etc.

 

US FCC Certification:

- Testing Contents: Electromagnetic Compatibility + Wireless

- Applicable Products: Electronic and electrical products from 9K to 3000GHz

- Mandatory: Yes

- Factory Inspection: None

- Local Agent: Required

- Plug Type: US standard

- Voltage Requirements: Civil AC 120V 60Hz, industrial voltage ranging from 227V to 480V

- Application Method: Direct application

- Certificate Validity: Long-term
