What is cb certification and What Are Its Benefits?

The CB Scheme is a global mutual recognition system established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IECEE). 34 countries and 45 certification bodies participate in this mutual recognition system, with the number of member countries and organizations continually expanding. Once a company obtains a CB certificate from one certification body, it can conveniently be converted into certifications from other bodies, providing market access to the relevant countries.

The main advantage of obtaining CB certification is the ease of conversion to various domestic and international certifications, such as Saudi Arabia's IECEE registration, Singapore's PSB, South Korea's KC, Malaysia's ST, Australia's RCM, and China's ccc certification.

Additionally, the CB report carries high credibility and is often directly recognized by buyers in many countries or regions, such as Southeast Asia.

Important Considerations for Applying for CB Certification:

- Inform the laboratory of the product's export countries to allow for the inclusion of relevant national standards deviations.

- If the product claims to be waterproof or dustproof, an IP rating report must be provided.

- Products with LED or UV light sources require an IEC 62471 test report.

- Product specifications must include the maximum operating temperature.

For trademarked applications, a trademark authorization letter is required.
