Update time : 2024-07-11

The cost of the Saudi SABER certificate varies due to multiple factors, making it impossible to provide a fixed amount. These factors include, but are not limited to, product type, risk level, scope of testing, duration, and choice of certification body. However, we can provide a rough reference based on some common cost items and their general ranges.

First, the application fee is a basic cost in the SABER certification process. The application fee varies according to different product categories, generally ranging from $100 to $2,000. This fee is required when submitting the certification application.

Secondly, the registration fee is another important cost in the SABER certification process. The registration fee is determined by the product’s risk level and category, typically ranging from a few hundred to several thousand RMB. This fee is usually paid during the product registration stage.

In addition to the application fee and registration fee, the annual supervision inspection fee is another cost to consider in the SABER certification process. The amount is determined by the product category and risk level, with an annual fee generally ranging from $100 to $500.

Product testing fees represent a relatively large cost item in the SABER certification process. This cost needs to be determined based on the actual product, as testing fees vary between different products. For example, the testing fee for simple toys might be around $1,000, while for medical products, it could reach up to $7,000. If the factory already has test reports, most of these can be directly accepted, saving part of the testing fees.

Additionally, the on-site audit fee is a factor to consider. This fee is determined by the scope and duration of the audit, generally calculated on a daily basis. If a product requires an on-site audit, this fee will vary according to the product’s complexity and the length of the audit.

Factory inspection fees may also be required in the SABER certification process. Fees charged by different agencies vary, typically ranging from $800 to $1,500. For products requiring factory inspection, such as construction materials, tableware, auto parts, and amusement equipment, additional factory inspection fees need to be paid.

Lastly, the certificate review fee is a cost that needs to be paid for each product. The certificate review fee for each product is approximately 4,000 RMB. This fee is required after the product has passed all tests and reviews to obtain the formal SABER certificate.

In addition to the above fees, the payment of SABER taxes must also be considered. The tax for the PC certificate is 575 Saudi Riyals per product; the SC certificate tax varies based on the product tax rate, generally ranging from 400 to 1,000 Saudi Riyals. These taxes are paid to the Saudi government when the certificate is issued.

Please note that the above fees are for reference only, and actual costs may vary depending on the product, agency, and service content. For accurate SABER certification costs, you can contact us directly for consultation.
