Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) primarily studies the interference and anti-interference issues of electronic and electrical products. It addresses how to ensure that various electronic and electrical devices, equipment, or systems can operate normally without interfering with each other, achieving a state of compatibility.
- EMI refers to the emission characteristics of a device, specifically the electromagnetic interference it emits externally.
- EMS refers to a device's immunity, its ability to resist external electromagnetic interference. The more sensitive a device is, the poorer its immunity.

- The cost of CE certification for some products is approximately $1,300 USD (based on a quote from China's JJR laboratory, which can save you about 30% on certification costs).
- Delivery Time: 10 working days
- Samples: 2 sets (including related accessories such as cables, etc.)
- Testing Standards:
- Electromagnetic Compatibility: EN 55032, EN 55035, EN 61000
- LVD: EN 62368-1:2020
1. EMI Testing Items:
- Harmonic Current (2 to 40 harmonics)
- Flicker
- Conducted Disturbance (CE)
- Radiated Disturbance (RE)
2. EMS Testing Items:
- Electrostatic Discharge Immunity (ESD)
- Radiated Electromagnetic Field Immunity (80MHz to 1000 MHz) (RS)
- Electrical Fast Transient/Burst Immunity
- Surge (Lightning) Immunity
- Injected Current (150kHz to 230MHz) Immunity (CS)
- Voltage Dips and Short Interruptions Immunity
The product must be in normal operating condition during EMC testing. When sending samples, the corresponding input/output loads and accessories should be included. Connection instructions and installation requirements should be confirmed with the laboratory in advance. If installation software is required, software usage instructions should be sent to the laboratory along with the samples. Generally, two sets of samples are sufficient.
The electromagnetic compatibility testing can be completed in approximately 2-3 weeks after receiving the test samples and payment. Expedited processing is available upon request. If the test fails and rectification is needed, the timeline will be extended.
