Today, we are introducing a battery-powered wireless smart button switch that uses certified Bluetooth and Zigbee modules. Since the customer's BT/Zigbee module has already received FCC pre-certification, and if the modulation type listed on the FCC ID certificate of the BT/Zigbee module is "single module," then the device can directly include the BT/Zigbee module's fcc id on its label.

The FCC SDoC in the United States refers to the Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity. Under this policy, the equipment supplier (note: the supplier must be a U.S.-based company) is responsible for testing the device for compliance with the applicable standards. Devices that meet the requirements must provide supporting documents (such as the SDoC declaration) as proof to the public. The SDoC policy simplifies the previously complex FCC certification requirements and further reduces the burden on businesses.
Under the FCC certification framework, the FCC SDoC applies to general non-wireless products such as monitors, household appliances, lighting equipment, etc. This includes personal computers and their peripherals, household electrical equipment, power tools, audio/video products, lighting devices, toys, and security-related products. Examples include monitors, mice, refrigerators, electric kettles, hair dryers, LED lighting, electronic toys, and standard access control systems.
