What is FCC Certification?

1) FCC sdoc Certification

For most common electronic products, FCC Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) is sufficient.

- Certification cost: $680–$900

- Timeline: 1–2 weeks

 

2) FCC ID Certification

Products with wireless functionalities require FCC ID certification.

- Examples: Bluetooth speakers, wireless printers, smartphones, etc.

- Certification cost: $1,450–$2,300

- Timeline: Approximately 4 weeks

 

What is Needed to Apply for FCC Certification?

1. Fill out the FCC certification application form, including details of the manufacturer, applicant, and address.

2. Provide 2–3 product samples for testing.

3. Submit a list of components.

4. Include a working frequency table.

5. Provide circuit diagrams and descriptions of the product's circuit design and working principles, including the wireless antenna design.

6. Include the product user manual with complete installation and usage instructions, including setup steps, usage details, and functionality explanations.
