This document specifies the safety requirements and test methods for household and non-household cribs, including cradles, suspended cribs, and bedside sleepers. These requirements apply to cribs with a maximum length of 900mm, designed to provide sleeping accommodation for infants until they can sit up, pull, or push themselves on their hands and knees.
This document does not cover electrical safety. It does not apply to cribs intended for medical or hospital use. Products that can be converted into other items may be covered by other relevant European standards.
