Electric Toothbrush CE Certification

An electric toothbrush is a toothbrush that uses batteries or a power source to drive the rotation or vibration of the brush head. CompaRED to traditional manual toothbrushes, electric toothbrushes can clean teeth more effectively and are more convenient to use. The brush heads of electric toothbrushes are usually replaceable to maintain hygiene.

CE certification Testing Standards for Electric Toothbrushes:

- EN 60335-1: Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - Part 1: General requirements

- EN 60335-2-52 + A11-2003: Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety of oral hygiene appliances

- EN 55014-1: Electromagnetic compatibility - Requirements for household appliances, electric tools, and similar apparatus - Part 1: Emission

- EN 55014-2: Electromagnetic compatibility - Requirements for household appliances, electric tools, and similar apparatus - Part 2: Immunity

- en 61000-3-2: Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Limits for harmonic current emissions (equipment input current ≤ 16A per phase)

- EN 61000-3-3: Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Limitation of voltage changes, voltage fluctuations, and flicker in public low-voltage supply systems for equipment with rated current ≤ 16A

- Environmental requirements: Electric toothbrushes must comply with European environmental standards such as RoHS Directive, reach regulation, etc.

 

Process for CE Certification of Electric Toothbrushes:

1. Application ConsULtation:

   - Fill out application forms.

   - Provide company information.

   - Submit product documentation for the electric toothbrush.

   

2. Quotation:

   - Provide a reasonable quotation based on the provided documentation, specifying applicable standards and testing procedures.

   

3. Payment by Customer:

   - Upon acceptance of the quotation, sign the application form and service agreement, and make the payment.

   

4. Factory Audit and Testing:

   - Conduct on-site audits and provide comprehensive testing services according to relevant EU directive standards.

   

5. Audit and Test Approval:

   - Compile audit reports and confirm testing results.

 

List of Documents Required for Electric Toothbrush CE Certification:

1. Product manual; circuit diagram; list of components.

2. Electromagnetic compatibility test report.

3. Safety performance test report.

4. List of materials; product photos.

5. Anti-counterfeiting label application form; application form.
