An electric toothbrush is a toothbrush that uses batteries or a power source to drive the rotation or vibration of the brush head. CE certification Testing Standards for Electric Toothbrushes:

- EN 60335-1: Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - Part 1: General requirements

- EN 60335-2-52 + A11-2003: Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety of oral hygiene appliances

- EN 55014-1: Electromagnetic compatibility - Requirements for household appliances, electric tools, and similar apparatus - Part 1: Emission

- EN 55014-2: Electromagnetic compatibility - Requirements for household appliances, electric tools, and similar apparatus - Part 2: Immunity

- EN 61000-3-2: Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Limits for harmonic current emissions (equipment input current ≤ 16A per phase)

- EN 61000-3-3: Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Limitation of voltage changes, voltage fluctuations, and flicker in public low-voltage supply systems for equipment with rated current ≤ 16A

- Environmental requirements: Electric toothbrushes must comply with European environmental standards such as RoHS Directive, REACH Regulation, etc.

 

Process for CE Certification of Electric Toothbrushes:

1. Application Consultation:

   - Fill out application forms.

   - Provide company information.

   - Submit product documentation for the electric toothbrush.

   

2. Quotation:

   - Provide a reasonable quotation based on the provided documentation, specifying applicable standards and testing procedures.

   

3. Payment by Customer:

   - Upon acceptance of the quotation, sign the application form and service agreement, and make the payment.

   

4. Factory Audit and Testing:

   - Conduct on-site audits and provide comprehensive testing services according to relevant EU directive standards.

   

5. Audit and Test Approval:

   - Compile audit reports and confirm testing results.

 

List of Documents Required for Electric Toothbrush CE Certification:

1. Product manual; circuit diagram; list of components.

2. Electromagnetic compatibility test report.

3. Safety performance test report.

4. List of materials; product photos.

5. Anti-counterfeiting label application form; application form.
