E-cigarette Certification and Testing Institutions

An e-cigarette is an electronic product that miMICs traditional cigarettes, offering a similar appearance, smoke, taste, and sensation. It works by atomizing nicotine and other substances into vapor, which users then inhale. Typically, an e-cigarette consists of three main components: a nicotine solution cartridge, an atomizing device, and a battery. Since e-cigarette products have the characteristics of electronic devices and the mouthpiece part is in prolonged contact with the mouth, the quality of these products directly affects human health. China's JJR Testing Laboratory provides tailoRED e-cigarette product testing solutions, conducting physical and chemical tests on batteries, cartridges, mouthpieces, e-liquids, and more.

The mouthpiece, which comes into prolonged contact with the mouth, must meet food contact material requirements. The battery must comply with battery directives or other relevant requirements. Other electrical components must meet RoHS directives, reach regulations, etc. E-liquid ingredients must undergo information transmission, including the use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

E-cigarette products rely on electricity to operate and are classified as electronic devices, so they must meet the relevant requirements for such products. Additionally, the mouthpiece part, which is in prolonged contact with the mouth, must be made of food-grade materials. Jingrui Huayu provides services such as EU ROHS Testing for e-cigarettes, EU REACH SVHC testing, PAHs testing, No 10/2011 food-grade testing, FDA food-grade 177.1580 testing, and also prepares MSDS for e-liquid ingredients.

Component Recommended Testing Items:
