Differences Between EN 62311 and EN 62479 Test

EN 62479 provides a simple method for EMF human exposure compliance assessment for low-power electronic and electrical equipment. EN 62233 includes tests for both magnetic and electric fields. If the operating voltage of the internal electronic circuits and transformers does not exceed 1000V, the device is considered to comply with the standard's electric field evaluation requirements without testing. Magnetic field testing needs to evaluate frequencies from 10Hz to 400kHz through testing and weighted calculations to confirm whether the appliance meets the standard's requirements.
