Amazon USA requires that all children's toys and children's products must provide a Children's Product Certificate (CPC), similar to the Certificate of Conformity (COC). When listing child-related product categories, such as toys, baby products, etc., on Amazon's USA site, a CPC certificate is required. Without it, the product cannot be sold.
Currently, children’s toy products and mother & baby products exported to the USA require a CPC certification certificate and a CPSIA report for customs clearance. Foreign e-commerce platforms like Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress all require that Chinese-manufactured children's products, toys, and mother & baby products obtain a CPC Children's Product Safety Certificate.

2. Tracking Labels:
As required by CPSIA, children's products need to have permanent tracking labels attached to the product and its packaging.
3. Children’s Product Certificate (CPC):
Manufacturers or importers must issue a CPC certifying that the children's clothing meets applicable requirements. The CPC should include the product name, supplier information, relevant standards, test results, etc.
4. Flammability Requirements:
Children's clothing must meet specific flammability standards, such as 16 CFR Part 1615 and 16 CFR Part 1616, which outline the flammability requirements for children's sleepwear.

8. Product Description and Images:
A detailed description and images of the product may be required to demonstrate compliance with all applicable children's product safety regulations.
9. Country of Origin Label:
Most products sold in the U.S. require a permanent country of origin label, and children's clothing is no exception.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the product being removed from Amazon, or even legal penalties. Therefore, Amazon sellers should ensure that all necessary tests and certifications are completed before listing children's clothing products and have the appropriate documents ready for review.
