ANATEL certification applies to wireless communication devices intended for sale and use in the Brazilian market. The products are categorized into three types:
1. Type I:

2. Type II:
Covers any equipment using radio that is not included in Type I.

3. Type III:
Covers any equipment regulated by ANATEL's rules and regulations that are not included in Type I or II.
Common products include optical fiber cables, cable connectors, mobile network signal transmitters, etc.

Test reports, including EMC tests, radio frequency spectrum tests, electrical safety tests, etc.
4. Electrical Scheme:
Electrical design and circuit diagrams of the product.
5. ISO 9001 Certification:
Certification of the manufacturing plant (if applicable).
6. Additional Documents:
For importers, authorization letters, Social Contract, CNPJ (Brazilian company tax number), and other documents may be required.

Choose a qualified testing laboratory and submit the application form.
2. Submit Documentation and Samples:
Provide the required documentation and product samples to the laboratory.
3. Testing and Evaluation:
Samples are tested and evaluated in an ANATEL-recognized laboratory to ensure compliance with Brazilian telecommunications and radio standards.
4. Review and Certification:
If the product passes the tests and meets ANATEL's requirements, the Brazilian OCD (Designated Certification Body) will review and issue the ANATEL certificate.
5. Registration:
Register on the ANATEL online portal to validate the certificate's effectiveness.
6. Product Marking:
Mark the product with the ANATEL certification label and proceed with market sales.
