Nowadays, most electronic products, especially wireless products, are equipped with Bluetooth technology. If your device supports Bluetooth functionality and displays the Bluetooth logo on the product, or if the product is exported to European countries, you must obtain the BQB test certificate.
BQB Certification, also known as BQB listing, refers to the Bluetooth BQB certification listing format.
For example, for a Bluetooth speaker product:
- If the Bluetooth module is BQB certified, the Bluetooth speaker product does not need to apply for BQB certification again.
- With authorization from the module supplier, it can be listed on the BQB website in the form of a module listing.
In short: If your product has Bluetooth functionality and displays the Bluetooth logo, it must undergo BQB certification.
The Bluetooth Qualification Body (BQB) provides certification services to members who need Bluetooth product certification. BQB directly handles certification, reviews non-compliant documents and statements, evaluates product test reports, and lists products in the official Bluetooth authorized products database.
Important:
- BQB must be a Bluetooth SIG member or Bluetooth SIG staff.
- BQB is an independent entity and does not need to be affiliated with testing organizations or manufacturers.
