Electronic products are among the most popular categories on the Amazon platform, attracting a large number of sellers. Currently, Amazon has become the No.1 global retailer for electronic products. Data shows that 18% of sellers on Amazon sell electronics. However, as the number of sellers in this category continues to grow, Amazon has been tightening its product review standards.
Moreover, Amazon's strategic position in global commerce is steadily rising, allowing foreign electronic devices to enter the U.S. market through its platform. However, it is important to note that the U.S. does not impose mandatory safety regulations on foreign electronics manufacturers. Nevertheless, Amazon requires relevant test reports to be issued by laboratories certified under ISO 17025 / ILAC ISO 17025.
Recently, many sellers have encountered cases where Amazon requests a UL report due to fire-related product complaints. If you face a similar issue, there is no need to panic. China JJR Laboratory has handled numerous similar cases and successfully provided qualified reports to help many sellers pass Amazon’s review.
According to Amazon’s compliance requirements, sellers applying to sell mobile/laptop batteries and chargers must submit the following documents:

- Phone Number
- ASIN List (for the products applying for sale)
- Product Images & Manuals (must include all relevant safety information, compliance markings, and product details)
- Test Report Issued by an ILAC ISO 17025-Certified Laboratory, confirming that the product has been tested according to the relevant regulations/standards.
- Laptop Batteries: Must comply with UL 2054 or UL/CSA 62133.
- Replacement Mobile Batteries: Must comply with UL 2054 or UL/CSA 62133.

- Car Chargers for Mobile Phones: Must comply with UL 2089, UL/CSA 60950-1, or UL/CSA 62368-1.
