A kettle heats water by using heat from a stove. An electric kettle heats water to its boiling point by passing electricity through a coil (also called a heating element). Some types of kettles may include a thermostat, which will cut off the kettle’s power when the desired temperature is reached.
This also applies to any product used to heat water in devices that may contain lead, such as drip coffee makers, stove-top espresso machines, and moka pots that are not labeled as "kettles."
A test report from a laboratory accredited by ISO 17025, demonstrating that the product complies with the above regulations, standards, and requirements.
The test report must include an image of the product to verify that the tested product matches the one listed on the product detail page.
